Incidentally, bs, unless I'm missing some inside joke, that was a picture of

"The Colonel" in your avatar.

Not  "The Colonial"-- that's a team member at George Washington University....

It was a joke but I'm glad you pointed it out! :D

My original thought seems to be correct........most of you draw on paper first and then scan to trace or make modifications.

It depends on what it is that's gonna be in my logo, exactly. If it's an animal or person, I'll draw it out and then scan it, and go over it in Illustrator.

If it's something like a boat, plane, etc., I'll just find a picture of one and work off of that in illustrator.

but if you've seen any of ITE88's concepts its usually crap so don't take his word on how he goes about making the worst logos ever. :D:D
