CaolinaJoe
http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/news_story.asp?id=116024While these 2 will never make Cooperstown, they definitely deserve recogition noeth of the border. They exemplify the Blue Jays and Expos I remember as a kid. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien
NJTank
Dave Steib is without a doubt the face of the early Jays in the 80s, he was their first true good player. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
slapshot
Good for them to get some recognition for their years of contributions to the Jays & Expos. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016

Cashcleaner
My Dad was actually there in Cleveland way back in 1990 and watched Dave Stieb pitch his no-hitter. Best game he ever saw. Still got the ticket as well. Thanks go to Eddie010 for the Signature and Avatar. Nice work, mate!

Still got the ticket as well. your dad is a lucky bugger. As a lifelong Stieb fan, I was estatic about the announcement. Wether or not he ever makes it to Cooperstown, Dave will always be a Hall of Famer to me
