I GOT MY NEW JAYS JERSEY! (PHOTOS)

One thing I never knew or never paid attention to is that the Jays is always off center. Even in photos of players. The J is real close to the buttons so the B is really far to the side. I wonder why the heck they did that.

My guess for off-center script would be that if "Blue Jays" was centered the E would be overlapped on the jersey. If you can find a pic of a Jays double knit pullover it would probably be centered.

wow 106 views and nobody has anything to say?

I have nothing to say, thanks to your "Screw You Mitch Williams" picture of Joe Carter. Thanks for twisting the knife again - a fresh wound after almost a dozen years, right next to where Super Bowl XXXIX is finally starting to heal over.

The jersey's sweet, BTW...

Couldn't resist...sorry, Philly fans! :P

As to Joe Carter's jersey not having the Russell "R" logo. I believe in '93 the Jays were still using Wilson for the home uniforms. Wilson also made the Yankee uniforms for many years sans logo, per NY's request. The Jays may have made a similar request.

"Wild thing...you make my heart sing. Wild thing...you make everything GROOVY." Yeah, even ninth-inning fastballs. Oooh, that's cold!

:flagcanada: OK, Blue Jays, let's play bahl! :flagcanada:

"Touch 'em all Joe, you'll never hit a bigger home run in your life!!"

:puke: .... Sorry, 12 years later and I still can't even think about that moment without my stomach turning. I was 11 at the time, a die-hard phils fan (still am), and cried myself to sleep after that moment. It was an awesome moment for baseball, but was crushing beyond words to me.

Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.

Tyler: That's neat.

Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.

I was 17 when Joe Carter destroyed my hopes anew of seeing a parade down Broad Street. It was the first time I ever tried Bass Ale. And the last time.

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Wow my Joe Carter photo has gotten more responses than my jersey! Hehe :D . If anyone orders a jersey from Mike, once you get it, take a photo and post it in this thread.
