Mac the Knife Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 Normal golf scoring is based purely on strokes vs. par, while the Stableford system awards points based on the per-hole performance, such as:Double Eagle: 8 pointsEagle: 5 pointsBirdie: 2 pointsPar: 0 pointsBogey: -1 pointDouble Bogey, or Worse: -3 pointsThe higher the point total, the better the score.
