Shumway
This topic is highly debatable, so I'd like to see what everyone else has to say. I chose to go with just the 90s because that's what I remember. The basic idea is who I think was the best player for each MLB team of the 1990s.Arizone Diamondbacks: Jay Bell....not much to choose from here. Matt Williams was my other thought.Atlanta Braves: Greg MadduxBaltimore Orioles: Cal Ripken, JrBoston Red Sox: Mo VaughnCalifornia/Anaheim Angels: Tim Salmon...sorry to J.T. SnowChicago Cubs: Sammy SosaChiSox: Frank ThomasCincinnatti Reds: Barry LarkinCleveland Indians: Carlos Baerga...sorry, Albert BelleColorado Rockies: Andres Galarraga...only because he was there longer than Larry WalkerDetroit Tigers: Cecil FielderFlorida Marlins: Gary SheffieldHouston Astros: Craig Biggio...I'm going with all around over just power hittingKansas City Royals: hmmm...not much going on here at all. Brian McRae?LA Dodgers: Mike PiazzaBrew Crew: Greg VaughnMinnesota Twins: Kirby PuckettMontreal Expos: Marquis GrissomNY Mets: John FrancoNY Yankees: Derek JeterOakland A's: Mark McGwirePhiladelphia Phillies: Curt Schilling, although I'd like to give an honorable mention to the entire 1993 squad.Pittsburgh Pirates: Wow...where to go with this one? I'll give this one to Jay Bell tooSan Diego Padres: Tony GwynnSan Francisco Giants: Barry BondsSeattle Mariners: Ken Griffey, Jr.St. Louis Cardinals: Brian Jordan...Ozzie was past his prime, McGwire wasn't there long enough...so I didn't know where to go. Benes was my other thoughtTampa Bay Devil Rays: Wade BoggsTexas Rangers: Ivan RodriguezToronto Blue Jays: Roger ClemensAs I said before, many of these are highly debatable. FiddySicks
Its hard to say with the D rays and D backs considering how little time they played in the 90s On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
