The thing that pisses me off is that for at least ten years every year, all year long all i heard was Red Sox fans bitching and moaning that its been sooooo long since they last won a World Series, i didnt know untill about an hour ago that it took the White Sox two years LONGER than it did the Red Sox to win a world series. Why is it that White Sox fans were so much more quiet about their drought in between World Series wins? Does it have anything to do with class? Im kind of starting to think so. Red Sox fans are really starting to remind me of that spoiled little rich kid who complains when he doesnt get his way. I'm sure you have a great stance on Red Sox fans while living in South Africa.1) The White Sox would have won the World Series in 1919 (if they tried).2) The White Sox have had no history of failure in clutch moments. They haven't won a playoff game since the 1950s. You don't really get miserable until your team loses a close playoff game on a bad call or bad play.The Red Sox are like the groom who tripped at the altar with his 1st 2nd and 3rd wife, whereas the White Sox are like the dorky 40 year old IT guy who goes to Vegas once, accidentally meet a Stripper in an elevator, and live happily ever after with her. You can't feel bad for ChiSox fans because they never had legendary failure. You don't feel bad for this guy going without a gf for 10 years, because he now has eternal bliss.ChiSox fans never bitched because they were never near the finish line until this year.BTW, this is my new favorite term:bi-soxuals (people who were cubs fans who magically like the ChiSox once they got into the World Series)Ok, I'm just ranting, but I don't feel bad for a fanbase who hasn't endeared what we have.
