Or you could be different and use something like blue to accent it. What IS going on with the hair, also? It makes me think of unicorns, which wouldn't go well for a sports team. The hair does look off and it's sort of hard to actually see the dog with only the orange color with the outline of the dog. Like they said, another color would work.
