Forget about the date for a second. I'll give you a better reason as to why it works better than a 'modern' ball.It fits asthetically with the home uniform. murtaugh Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Most current professional balls don't use the hexagon/pentagon stiching, and actually look a lot closer to the classic style.Put aside for a moment that I think soccer balls of any style in a club logo tends to look goofy.
