Capite?

 .

You could've gone 1 of 2 ways here trying to make your point. You could have gone for the proper spelling... CAPISCE? and people would have understood. Or, you could have spelled it phonetically... CAPEESH? and at least made it possible for people to spell it out. Instead, you went for Choice #3, and followed up a cryptic comment trying to equate Wisconsin's hockey alternate sweaters with the long-running ball & glove Brewers' logo issue. One has nothing to do with the other, your explanation didn't clear anything up, then you punctuated it by misspelling the word you were seeking to use to punctuate how we all should have seen your logic from the outset.

Umm... well played. :therock:

As for the sweaters themselves, I'm all for keeping the color palettes restricted on college gear. Tradition should trump market research, and Wisconsin's traditional hockey sweaters are as good as it gets in college hockey. That said, the Motion W has been in the fold for long enough that a small black drop shadow doesn't look entirely out of place for Wisconsin. But this could be the door opening to more black, which is not a good idea if black isn't a part of the color scheme to begin with, just ask the Lions, Royals, Eagles... and so on.

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
