slapshot
Why is it silly? It's a very popular sport in Europe and Southeast Asia. It's a fast paced game that's almost too fast to watch on TV. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
officeglenn
Should they do a NBL or is that just silly? Are you just spitballing here? Or do you have a source saying someone is considering this?

pollux
It could work. I played some events where individual results were compiled for the team you represent. Therefore a team had to win three individual matchups in order to get to the next round. It's a really cool concept and everybody feels they have a chance to help the team. NJTank
It would work if enough people like Badminton watched it but it wont be more thena fringe sport at best. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
slapshot
It would work if enough people like Badminton watched it but it wont be more thena fringe sport at best. True. A fringe sport (pun intended?) that would be grouped with the other racquet sports: racquetball, squash, and table tennis. They'd only appeal to those sport-specific athletes and would be almost completely obscure except for the Olympics.
