NBDL leaves Fayetteville.

My buddy that worked for the Patriots here in fayetteville just told me, that the NBA office people came down today and closed them down. so no more Fayetteville Patriots. not like its that big fo a loss being they couldnt draw a crowd when they give away tix.

Sorta kinda.... Roanoke isn't dead yet, according to the site. Their survival is pending a local group stepping up to run the team. NBA has only withdrawn their operations.

"League President Phil Evans would not rule out the possibility of a local ownership group operating the team, although he did indicate that time was of the essence and an acceptable deal would need to be finalized quickly."
