HedleyLamarr Posted September 16, 2006 Author Share Posted September 16, 2006 If we're using that as a definition for determining championships, then the Braves lose their 1995 World Series.There were games in April 1995 that were cancelled, therefore the season was not completed.Division champions are determined by the team that is in first place at the end of the season. When the season ended, the Expos were in first place. They are the 1994 division champions... sorry. Two things:1. MLB recognizes no official division or league champions for the 1994 season. Montreal and Canada can claim it all they want, but it's unofficial.2. MLB revised the 1995 season to a 144-game season, and does officially recognize the division, league, and World Series champions.I'm all about being official.... JQK Posted September 16, 2006 Share Posted September 16, 2006 1990, i was 8 at the beginning of the season, turned 9 on Aug. 25... Was huge into TMNT, Transformers obviously. Attended Huron Hockey School and then went into the Bayonne Youth Hockey Association for the Niccaretta Construction team...Was enjoying the beginning of what would become the Giants Super Bowl XXV run, and just generally being a kid...Wow... what a run...I still hate the braves though. 1996, 1999 Bitches!
