That's .584 winning percentage or to put in Regular season baseball terms a 94-95 win team.Let's take out the 26 the Yankees have won.59 - 26 = 33So without the Yanks the AL is 33-42 and has a .440 winning percentage. Which is about 71 wins in an MLB season.Well if you take the Yankees out of the equation you also have to take the Yankees losses out of the equation since you are saying they aren't apart of the American League anymore. That then gives the American League a 33-29 record in the World Series. Yes, the Yankees mess up the World Series numbers a bit but there dominance also goes to the dominance of the league. Taking them out is like saying the Yankees, Tigers, and Twins should be taken out of the equation this year in looking at which league is more dominate.
