sacker12
When I was in New Orleans this past week for the game, I found this great hat shop just a few blocks away from my hotel downtown. It is called Meyer the Hatter on St. Charles Ave., and they had a pretty good selection of the old classic hats. From that store, I bought an AJD Detroit Tigers hat in 7 1/2 (I'm not going to wear that one much. It was one of those hats that were polyester with the glued-on patch), a Sports Specialties 80's SF Giants hat in 7 5/8", and a retro Reds Sports Specialties in 7 1/2" (which is what I am wearing right now as I post. I'll curve it as soon I get through curving my new Tulane baseball hat). I also bought me a unstructured black Saints hat with the state logo on it. They have a fairly good variety of size in some styles. I also saw some New Era 5950's, too. I just thought that I'd spread the word just in case any of you guys wanted to check them out. In case you guys want to call them, their number is 504-525-1048.
