Or maybe it means, "We admit it might look kind of pinkish, but we better call it something else, because nothing in a sports logo can ever be labeled Hot Pink."It's one of Pantone's Day-Glo Colors...PANTONE 805 C. The latest printed guide (just got the coated, uncoated, matte, metallics and pastels guides a couple of weeks ago) shows it as a fluorescent Orange-y Pink.
