Giving up Parent and those early picks might not bode well for the future. However, short term? It's everything that team (and market) needed. Viper Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 I just finished watching Forsberg's first game as a Predator - as luck would have it, it happened to come against my boys, the Minnesota Wild.He ddin't exactly get off to a flying start in Nashville. The Preds did score first, but Forsberg didn't figure in the goal. They never scored again, and the Wild won 4-1. Granted, two of the Wild's goals came from lucky breaks (a power play and a penalty shot resulting from ticky-tack calls) and another was an empty-netter at the end, but I expected more out of the Predators tonight than just the one goal.
