Phil Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 The older version is significantly more awesome when you're 7 years old, and some of your best memories are of Bobby Hull, Ulf Nilsson, and Anders Hedberg flying around the ice, scoring at will, while wearing it....and the newer version is likewise significantly more awesome when you're 7 years old, and some of your best memories are of Teemu Selanne, Alexei Zhamnov, and Ed Olczyk doing the same.Except Boris Mironov... that guy wouldn't pull the trigger unless the goalie was at least 15.3 feet from the crease.Oh, and the Jets that flew around the monochromatic scoreboard while sweet Jock Jams played over the sound system?
