FlyersHockey1967
I don't actually own any authentic jerseys (nor have I ever). However, I'm of the mind-set that it looks silly for a grown adult to wear a jersey with some player's name on it. Especially since I'm probably old enough to be most of these guys's dad.Which is why I kinda get freaked out whenever I see grown men at any college sports event wearing a guy's jersey. I mean, you're wearing a jersey with a name that belongs to a college student who is a helluva lot younger than you are. That's kinda scary. I think that if you purchase a jersey when you're younger and later on wear it, it's okay because it carries memories of past players and moments. But I also think that there's a certain age when you're doing something like taking your grandkids to see their first sporting event that the jersey should stay in the closet until he/she is old enough to "take care of it".
