NJTank
You are Amos Otis, and Gil Hodges tried to make you a 3B and you struggled and were sent down to the Minors and traded for the immortal Joe Foy in one of the 10 worsts trades in Mets history. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
infrared41
Amos Otis is correct. He was known for using the same glove for a number of years. It actually got to the point where the glove was so worn that it had a hole in the palm. If memory serves he used the same glove for 12 or 13 straight seasons. It was news when he finally went with a new one. It seemed like the announcers would talk about his glove whenever the Royals were on TV.
