NJTank
When the Mets faced the Reds in a throwback game in 2000, what Science Fiction movie were they promoting? NJTank
After Further Review According to my 2000 Mets yearbook Frequency Night was April 25thWhich the Mets wonhttp://ultimatemets.com/gamedetail.php?gameno=6097 www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
njmeadowlanders
I'll have to take your word on that...though I could swear I saw the flannels that day I went...All I have is the Media Guide which makes no mention of Frequency and only has April 27, 2000 as "Kids Opening Day"--odd because you'd figure a Thursday in April wouldn't be the best day for that.... NJTank
The Mets used to do that during the Spring Vacations kids got in NYC. Kids Opening Day was a separate promotion my yearbook mentioned it too as Kids Photo Day. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
