Brian in Boston
Ray Nitschke.I wonder what kind of shape Ray's "family jewels" were in after shooting that picture? I mean how many times does even the toughest of Pro Football Hall of Famers have to take a football to the agates?Brian in Boston
Stampman
I thought it was Ray Nitschke --just kidding--a name like that is tough to spell if you're not familiar with it--and it's spelled differnet ways--I have to agree with that--But this brings up a different point--I've heard they're remaking this movie (which in itself isnt a bad thing)--the bad thing is they have Adam Sandler picked to play Paul Crewes (the Burt Reynolds role)--talk about horrid casting. sj32
Although not a Hall of Famer, former Vikings, Patriots & CFL quarterback Joe Kapp had a sizeable role as "the Walking Boss".
