BroadwayBlueshirt Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 The color, very obviously, was lifted from that one mock-up in the Mets uniform survey for a cream-ish home jersey. But I really dug it as a road color, in the vein of San Diego's creative sand uniforms. I figure that if the Mets make an effort to go back to their blue and orange roots, this would be a fresh, original way to honor that, instead of the dark grey they wear now. Naturally, this would be worn with the blue hats and socks, and the home jerseys it would be paired with would be pinstripes and sans-dropshadows.
