Homer Picks

Aaron Rodgers for MVP

Charles Woodson for DPOY

Clay Matthews Jr. for DROY

This is probably the toughest decision for MVP in a while and why I believe they should wait until the Super Bowl is over to make a decision, Because all the MVP candidates at least in my book (Outside of Chris Johnson) are in the playoffs.

Peyton Manning

393/571, 4500yds, 33TDS, 16INT, 99.9RTG

Drew Brees

363/514, 4388yds, 34TDS, 11INT, 109.6RTG

Aaron Rodgers

350/541, 4434yds, 30TDS, 7INT, 103.2RTG

Brett Favre

363/531, 4202yds, 33TDS, 7INT, 107.2RTG

Phillip Rivers

317/486, 4254yds, 28TDS, 9INT, 104.4RTG

Tony Romo

347/550, 4483yds, 26TDS, 9INT, 97.6RTG

Chris Johnson

358 Carries, 2006yds, 14TDS, 5.6AVG

Strictly based on stats the MVP has to be Drew Brees, but it will be one of the toughest choices in recent memory

My picks

Coach of the year- Sean Payton (The Saints are everything that the Bengals are, historically and more, and the Saints have looked better than the Bengals all season)

Comeback player of the year- Carson Palmer (Wanna know how important Palmer is to the Bengals, go look at there win loss record in 2008, and consider that the 2008 Bengals lost TJ Houshmanzadeh as well.)

Offensive Player of the year- Peyton Manning (simply the best passer in the game)

Defensive Player of the year- Charles Woodson

MVP- For me it comes down to Manning or Brees, Manning's OPOY is frankly a bit of a consolation prize, as Drew Brees gets my prize here.
