Chicago White Sox Alternate

Based on one of my all-time favorite baseball uniforms, the beautiful 1911 White Sox home uni. I loved where they put the name. I decided to modernize it by using the White Sox's current script font, number font, and color scheme, and by adding a number to the front. It is a pullover jersey, since this design cannot work with buttons. This was just a quick mockup I made while making my Astros concept, but what do you think?

As a White Sox fan, I'm not a fan of these. Though, I would like to see some sort of pullover design come back for the Sox, I wouldn't want it to be this. It looks like they're wearing ties.

I would assume the original intention of the 1911 uniform WAS to make it look like they were wearing ties.

I kinda like it... when I first saw it, I actually though of those uniforms they wore in the late 80's/early 90's.

I guess it was, but the idea looks too corny in my opinion. I guess if you wanted to roll with this a few adjustments would have to be made.

It's a pretty neat idea, but as wildwinger said, I instantly saw ties.

For any other team, this would be garbage, but coming from the Sox, I can actually see it.
