illwauk
as much as i hate the Steelers, im shocked to see them at 3-0, even without the thug roethlisberger."Thug" Roethlisberger? Really? I mean, dude's a certified douche, I got that, but "thug"? Ehh...that's taking it a bit far.Y'know... I vaguely remember making a remark about how no one in the media was calling Benny a thug when it seems to happen at the drop of hat whenever a player with a more (*AHEM*) "urban" image gets in trouble. And this was all riiiiiight around the time when Tanner was having his meltdown

rams80
Actually, while we are on the subject of Roethlisberger and the Steelers, I'm kind of surprised that the national media really hasn't jumped upon one of the other implications of Pittsburgh's start. Namely, if Pittsburgh can replicate the success it had with Roethlisberger WITHOUT him, then perhaps he is not nearly the integral component to Pittsburgh's success some (many?) make him out to be and is perhaps nothing more than the most overrated game manager in the league. AJM
The Chiefs. Didn't see that one coming (though I'm not willing to buy into them completely just yet, see Denver, 2009-2010 season to see why). I had heard all the hype about the 49ers, but I never really saw why there was all that hype. So being 0-3 isn't that surprising to me.Same here...didn't see the Chiefs coming out the gates like this....still a lot of football left though.Plus the 49ers...never thought they'd be as goos as the hype, but never expected them to turn out such a poor showing.
