Phillies Road Concept

After makin a pic of how the phillies hat from the 50s would look in burgundy, I felt the need to make a concept of what uniform id's like them to wear.

First off, the logo, the only thing I don't care for in the phillies 50's wordmark is the squared off h and i's so I rounded them off.

Also, no blue, not needed imo for this look with burgundy.

And here is the road uniform, I like the current font of the number's also I slightly thickened the wordmark so it appears better on the jersey. (think of the dodgers how their logo is thinner than the jersey wordmark(

I may try my hand at the home version.

Very nice. My OCD senses tell me that the "P" on the hat is different than the "P" on the jersey, but I can live with it. I'd love to see a home version.

Try redrawing the script to account for the curves and slants of the P on the cap. They don't match. That was okay in the '50s, but now we like these things to be a bit more comprehensive.

The modern number font doesn't really go with the script. Considering I believe that that script and cap logo is far inferior to the currents, I'm surprised by how much I like this concept.
