kmccarthy27 Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 The Redskins did one of two things when I worked Merch for them:1) Fred Smoot left and he had #21 and Sean Taylor then changed his number to #21, so they took the Smoot Authentic's and sent them to a company that put Taylor name tags on the back.(Which failed mind you because the Taylor tags were smaller than the Smoot's and you can see where a seam ripper was used. 2) The brought them all in to the Store in the stadium, marked them down during game days and sold them all for $40.
