njmeadowlanders
While obviously no helmet can ever totally prevent head injuries, any step in the direction of getting better at doing so is always a positive. Not just for football, but for hockey, cycling, motorcycles, construction, whatever.
Mings
I dropped a hammer on my head once while volunteering for Habitat. Even with a hard hat, that hurts.
Cosmic
This might be a dumb question, but why do football helmets have to be hard on the outside? Have they just not found a material that can do what they need it to do? It just seems like a no-brainer to increase the duration of the impact and reduce the severity.
