Now, the Atlanta Flames, a 1972 expansion team with the PBLA.

The first decade and a half for Atlanta was mediocre at best, They made the playoffs once in 1980 and finished last in the Central Conference nine out of those fifteen years. Then, out of the blue, the Flames went from first to worst in the 1986 season and went on to win the PBLA championship three years in a row, Since then, the Flames have had their ups and downs but haven't quite repeated their three-year "glory days" period, as central Georgia baseball fans call it.

Nowadays, the Flames are coming off two straight playoff appearances, as they are shooting for a PBLA title run led by fifth-year manager Tomas Blanco, 49. He is widely known as the "platoon master," always finding ways to insert the best talent to the most appropriate position each day. Then, Brett Stevenson, 30, is a crafty lefty whose sinker is deadly, especially to left-handed hitters. He just signed a giant six year contract for 72 million and is on a mission to lead the Flames' young rotation deep through the playoffs. Also, corner outfielders Josh Dawson, 26, and Antonio Terrero, 34, provide the most lethal power combo in the PBLA since Vince Bielder and Brian Rawn.

Here are the Mighty Miami Citrus.

A team that joined the league in 1985, the Citrus have a past of bringing championships to South Beach. Being a new team, not a whole lot of people feared the Citrus in their inaugural season. Proving to the doubters that they weren't a team to be taken lightly, Miami came second in their division, making the playoffs in their first year, a feat in which no other expansion team has completed. That season sparked a run of making the postseason four out of the next six years, winning their first championship in 1990. After a couple of years, rookie shortstop Halbert Tooholes took the league by storm, leading Miami to another title in 1995, then again later in his career in 2002.

Now, the Citrus aren't anywhere as talented as they used to be, flirting with the Eastern Conference basement the last five years. Although the Citrus have been struggling as of late, they do have all stars Eli Fitzsimmons, 26, and Benito Sanchez, 23. Fitzsimmons is a five-tool righfielder that has a bright future with the team. Sanchez is the Citrus's ace of the staff, a righty that throws 95+ with a dominant sinker. The team just hired Richard Phillips as manager for this upcoming season. He has spent the last three years as third base coach for the New York Beavers.

I like thee logo, but the jersey is WAYYYYYY too crowded. Get rid of 'Citrus and the logo in between the numbers. Maybe keep the crowdedness on the alternate? Don't change the orange jersey

Agreed, get rid of the Citrus in the middle in between the numbers.
