Olympic Prizes Question

The U.S. pays something like $25,000 for a gold, $15,000 for a silver, and $10,000 for a bronze. Those numbers are probably incorrect, I'm straining the far reaches of my memory for those, but the actual numbers are sort of irrelevant to my question.

Are those just for individual performances, or do those apply to a team as well? If the U.S. women's hockey team wins gold, do all the players get $25,000, do they have to split it, or is there something different for team wins? Question also applies to relays and such, does the relay team split the money or does each runner/swimmer/skier/whatever get the full amount?
