McCall Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 I will add on that if you're doing a concept for an "untouchable" team, it would honestly be a good idea to clarify if you're trying to improve the current look (in which case it should be compared to the actual one because you are basically claiming to have "fixed" something that may not be broken) or if you're simply just showing some idea you had in your head or for fun, in which case it's more likely to be judged as a standalone concept. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
slapshot Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Nothing is untouchable.You can do concepts for any team you want.But, like in any concept, there should be some justification for the modifications. All changes should make sense in some way, more than just making the color change because the paint bucket tells you to, or changing a word mark to a default font set in your application.If you don't understand or know why you're changing something, don't change it.
