In an alternate universe the American Football League was never created, instead it was the Federal Football League.

Established in 1960, the FFL was a 16 team league with 2 conferences. There was the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference.

Eastern conference consisted of BOSTON ADMIRALS / BROOKLYN ISLANDERS / BUFFALO SCOUTS / HARTFORD COYOTES / CINCINNATI GENERALS /
INDIANA MAVERICKS / MIAMI SHARKS / ORLANDO STINGRAYS.

Western Conference consisted of COLORADO COMETS / HOUSTON WRANGLERS / KANSAS CITY WARRIORS / NASHVILLE RAMBLERS /
LAS VEGAS OUTLAWS / LOS ANGELES TIGERS / OAKLAND PIRATES / UTAH YELLOWJACKETS.

Federal Football League played 10 seasons (1960 - 1969). In 1970, the Federal Football League merged with the National Football League.
This merger created the American Football league in 1970. The AFL consisted of 2 conferences. Federal Conference and National Conference.
Federal Football League's 16 teams now made up the Federal Conference and the National Football League's 16 teams now made up
the National Conference in the American Football League. In this universe the American Football League is the present day 32 team league (1970 - Present).

Now back to the Federal Football League. Founded in 1960 with 16 teams, the Federal Football League was just as popular as the National Football League.
Their title game was named the Champions Bowl.

Here you can see each teams' logo, wordmark and helmet.

I like what you're going for here.  But most of the logo is black negative space.  I feel like the L and the V should be much thicker, and the dice are so insignificantly small that I couldn't even tell what those were until I zoomed in.

Yeah that makes sense. My goal was to have that negative space look like Nevada.
