  1. I actually like this jersey.

    flyersalt.jpg

Funny you posted that, I was just about to post a pic of that very jersey in the 2012-13 NHL uniform changes thread defending it. I miss the days where teams got inventive with their third instead of just regurgitating from the past. This was a nice change of pace that didn't stray too far from the teams established look. The perfect Flyers set in my opinion would be this paired up with the 90's jerseys (The orange one, no black!)

  2. No big deal. I'm not sure if you're asking why he was doing that or why I posted it.

But I was posting the gif of him brushing his shoulders off after I made logodude look silly again. It's just like people talking :censored: about or to you, and you just brush your shoulders of. I felt super white saying that haha.

I just thought it would be be funny to go with it, like get off me bro, essentially, but funnier because it's the prez doing it.

Ohh okay. I thought it might have been in reference to something specific Obama did in relation to this subject. Im dumb haha.

Oh, and that Alex Jones/Ventura thing wasn't supposed to be anything personal and what not. I'm just more sensitive to the guys about 9/11 stuff being a New Yorker. I'll leave that out next time, as you said I was doing well enough without haha. :D

Ah no worries, at least we are on the same page about the topic. I'll leave out politics as well, time and place for everything :)

  3. Then the FBI must suck at their job, because they sure don't "show" their caring about Chinese NFL jerseys, considering how many people get away with it.

The FBI understands that there are bigger battles to fight than Chinese NFL jerseys, which is why they don't pay as much attention to them as you'd like.

    Remember when you said that?

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Federal-authorities-seize-nearly-fake-Super-Bowl-goods-020212

Now remember when "they" did this?

    35162_o.gif

Edit: Thanks to icecap and Morgo for the support and understanding of this issue. Glad we are on the same page.

Not a problem, but what is the gif in relation to? Pardon me for being ignorant

  4. Those two were examples of conspiracy theorists in popular media, and logobro had alot to say about the Feds "manufacturing" and making crimes for their financial gain and conspiracies about the Federal Law Enforcement level being a joke essentially. So I lumped him in with those guys who also believe the Feds are all out to get us.

I hate the term "Conspiracy Theorist." It's an empty distinction that automatically tars people as lunatics. But the fact of the matter is, Alex Jones has been right about so many things it's scary. I would reccomend watching one of his documentaries before judging him.

Anyways, I appreciate your support on the rest of it. I'm really not sure why the guy is on this site when he doesn't care about logo/uni details, which is what brought alot of us here.

Boggles my mind as well, it's like he thinks anyone on here would be sympathetic to these people.

  5. Remember that time I destroyed your logic Shock and Awe style? (see: Iraq War Shock and Awe for reference).

And you didn't respond, just tucked your tail between your legs and left the thread?

Let's get back to the part where you leave, regardless of how it's done, and don't come back. Your flawed criminal logic and stupidity is mind boggling.

Maybe he would make fun of what I wear, but guess what? I'm not a picture of a counterfit jersey on a site where people are uni/logo enthusiasts.

Most people here, would know it's a fake. You wouldn't know, because attention to detail and reality are two things you don't have a very firm grasp on.

Upset it's a Canucks jersey? Great argument, not like a Canucks fan also said, "Oh God why..." That could have been an Islanders jersey, and I'm sure for Nash could have been a Blue Jackets jersey and the reaction would be the same.

You think it looks good on him because your taste in quality has already been established as piss poor.

Go back to your Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura conspiracy theory pages about the "man" being after you and "wasting time" on what your high IQ self doesn't consider a crime.

You were doing so well until you made it about Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura. Those two have nothing to do with the issue and would probably side with you and the rest of us sane people here. Besides that your post is on point like a javelin.

  6. I don't think Federal Law Enforcement are a bunch of busy bodies or self righteous.

If you ever get in trouble for a manufactured crime, you'll see where I'm coming from. If you never have, then you might not see where I am coming from.

Oh, and I don't believe that you aren't a criminal. That's bull :censored:. If you have ever driven over the speed limit, then you are a criminal. Or do you selectively break whichever laws you want, and then complain when other people break laws that you "feel" matter?

Finally you posted something I agree with. Law enforcement is a bureaucracy and the amount of unnecessary ones will make your head spin. Though I'm not justifying counterfeit jerseys.

  7. I'm going to disagree here - maybe to a neurotic blowhard like you it would look fake, but I would be willing to bet that 9 out of 10 people (if not more!) people on the street wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Oh, and they probably wouldn't care either, if they found out. Because balanced people aren't obsessed with pointing out who of the random people they see in public are wearing "fakes" and who aren't.

As Charger stated, this is a Graphic Design orientated board for sports logos... The majority of the posters here are "neurotic blowhards" who can pick out a fake from the real thing instantly. We spend our time obsessing over logos sports uniforms and every detail associated with them yet are unbalanced for pointing out how ridiculous and tacky fakes are.

  8. Wow, nice quality. 6 years? I'd say you made a great purchase here. I wouldn't know that was a fake, and neither would most people.

Except that everything about it screams "fake." The jersey mesh, bubbly numbers, shoddy sleeve logo and super-tight neck.

It's lasted 6 years. You put a replica through a fourth as many wash cycles and it's destroyed. And people wonder why anyone would buy fakes...

I'd rather look good for a year and a half than cheap for six?

    This

Why worry about ruining something in the wash if it looks like complete crap to begin with?

  9. The one thing that bugs me about the Blackhawks' set is how one jersey is predominantly red, while the whites are predominantly accented with black. I'll admit that if I had the authority to make changes, I'd be hesitant to, but I almost think red numbers outlined in black would be perfect for the home whites.

The New Jersey Devils are the same way.

  10. Vintage White or Tan, it was still ugly as sin.

Yes, because a Canucks fan can be trusted to be objective about the Blackhawks.

Say something about how awful the Canucks jerseys are...

I already took it back. Sorry.

Damnit, you're no fun :P. Stay classy, for the record I don't hate the hawks, just those tan infused jerseys

  11. Personally, I think the Chicago Blackhawks have one of the worst uniforms in the NHL.

    Blackhawks51.png

    Please don't hurt me.

Maybe not the worst, but definitely among the most overrated.

Yeah, an outline is definitely needed... but no ugly vintage white is a plus.

That wasn't vintage white on their old thirds/throwbacks. The uniforms they were based on really did use a tan colour.

    Yep.

    Blackhawks08.png

Vintage White or Tan, it was still ugly as sin.

  12. I am guessing to be consistent most of you are also in support of SOPA and PIPA as well. I mean IP is IP after all.

You do realize SOPA/PIPA doesn't actually prevent piracy, and instead allows corporations to shut down any website they want, whenever they want, however they want, for any reason they want, without due process, right?

Opposing websites making and selling knockoff jerseys as the real thing doesn't mean you support corporations having the ability to censor the internet at their whim.

    This.

SOPA is in direct opposition to the free market as the corporations behind the mainsteam news stations will be able to shut down the exploding alternative press. You know the people who report real news instead of some watered down corporate agenda...
