I think he'd be better off competitively at Arizona, but taking the Washington job is a steep step up from Tucson.

He was rumored to a lot of other schools as well. He’s a good coach, but he’s going to drown in the B1G. Not only that, but welcome back to sucking Arizona

Washington had every opportunity in the second half. That holding call on the big play was suspect, especially since there was a lot of getting away with things all night long.

    Anyway, whatever. Cheaters always win.

Washington played a great game. Always respected the Huskies.

Michigan did not win a NC for Tom Brady's entire NFL career. The man retires and Michigan immediately wins it all. Lmao

Tom Brady already won a National Championship before he started his NFL career 😛😂

    Welp, close enough.

Mich deserved it. They know how turn football games into meat grinding contests.

Can’t wait for the inevitable vacation of the title and for Harbaugh to get out of my sport.

Your sport? Did you invent it?

My most current Lions jerseys are both Stafford, partially because I'm [cautiously] awaiting the new uniforms next season to get a new one. I'm not going, but if I was going to the game this weekend I guess I'd just have to bust out the ol' Charlie Batch jersey (or more than likely just wear a Lions hoody) to avoid wearing Stafford gear.

My most current jersey is also a Stafford jersey. But I’m not going to wear it. I have too many shirts I can wear before I wear Stafford

No, I'll gladly admit to it and I'm not the only person who has similar feelings regarding Liberty. Check out discussions involving Liberty on r/CFB and you'll see Virginia fans saying they'd root for Virginia Tech over Liberty, Michigan fans saying they'd root for Ohio State over Liberty, Florida fans saying they'd root for Florida State over Liberty, etc. etc.

Who Kevin, I will not root for Ohio State or Arizona. I just won’t tune in and forget the game exists

I'm about to root hard for the Cowboys.  I'm starting to feel actual pain in my stomach.  May have to shower with bleach when this one is over.

If both teams win out, then (I think) Detroit would get the #2 seed because of common opponents, they'd have a 1.000 percentage against Dallas, while the Eagles would only be .500 since they played twice.  All other common opponents had the same outcome (or will, if both teams win out)

    .

I couldn’t root for the Packers if they were in this situation with the chance of moving up or taking a seed. Just feels dirty and wrong on so many levels. But I understand your reasoning. Just still feels wrong

They're too drunk on the Lions hosting a playoff game to notice...

Trust me we notice, it’s embarrassing that the Pistons are almost at 30 games in a row. We have a new overpaid coach that took the Suns to the Finals a couple years ago, he should be taking a one team to a respectable record, yet here we are. I guess the only reason why Monty Williams isn’t fired is the salary he’s making.  This team is just bad

Lol, no. It’s probably better than Glendale because you basically have to drive straight through the entire city to get there from Mesa/Tempe, but it’s further away and pretty far out there and up to the north. It doesn’t have the kinda of problems the Glendale thing has, yet anyway. Give it another decade. I went back for the first time in almost a decade and was blown away by how much bigger it had already gotten. The roads used to kinda feel overkill for how little traffic they had. Now, though? It feels like a hotter So Cal. This is basically trading one problem for a very similar, even weirder, even riskier, even further away problem. Typical Coyotes.

I give it another decade when  you move back here 😂😛

Now I'm not a resident, but looking at a map, Desert Ridge is actually farther away from the metro than Tempe, Mesa or even Glendale are.

Granted it's at least somewhat close to Scottsdale, where all of the Coyotes' "real" fans allegedly live (though still not as close as Tempe or Mesa are, lol), but suffice to say I'm also skeptical that, even if it gets built, that they'll actually fill the place regularly & turn a profit for once.

It’s basically in the Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley area, if they go this route, it’ll be a mistake. At least with going with Mesa or Tempe it’s closer to the East Valley. But no one ever goes to Desert Ridge unless it’s going to the Desert Ridge Mall
