Is this a good return for a #1 draft pick?

    SG Grayson Allen

    SG Keon Johnson

    SF Nassir Little

    C Jusuf Nurkic

And if that pick could have been Luka?

He was mishandled in Phoenix from the last regime and the relationship was already broken. The Sarver/Monty era was good yet bad. Ayton and Monty hated each other, and at the time he was drafted yes he was the guy. But again mishandled, plus the fact he just became lazy. But with a new regime and the fact the new owner isn't afraid to pull the trigger and get some good role players that can help the Suns, I'm all for it. At the end of the day I don't think Ayton wanted to be here and for both sides it's for the best.

Concerning Luka? Who knows, but I don't think the Suns would have traded for Chris Paul and probably wouldn't have the Finals appearance, and I don't think there would've been the Renaissance that the Suns have had. but that's a alternate reality that we will never cross. It's a who knows where we are. But I do like the return that the Suns received. And I wish Ayton luck.

Believe it or not, the Padres only got mathematically eliminated today. Felt like they were eliminated a long long time ago lol.

And the Marlins are 1 win away from their first playoffs in a non pandemic year since 2003.

And the Diamondbacks are in the same area. Beat the Astros and they're in tonight.

Lions might actually win the North.

Which I hope they do, This team isn't the Same Ol Lions like we're used to and Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes have brought a winning culture to Detroit. This is a Lions fan who's seen 0-16 and Millen. This team hits different and this wait from all the bad and to get this team makes me feel special to watch. I hope this team can win a Super Bowl in the next few years. Because this fan has been waiting 32 years since the last time I've seen a playoff win. And been waiting 42 years for a Super Bowl

Not necessarily. The Tigers were a 95-win Wild Card team, back when there was only one Wild Card team per league. The Cardinals were an 83-win Division Champion, more akin to the current AL Central.

More like season randomness, this is the same team 3years back that lost 119 games and had a nearly had a 100 game turnaround from 2005. No one was expecting this team to even make the World Series.

I agree on Buffalo. I guess we'd have to consider New England for Thanksgiving, too, but it should be some tight rotation of charter AFC teams.  Gotta keep Detroit, though. It's all they have!

It's tradition, especially for us Lions fans. Not the only thing we have this year as we have alot to look forward to. But doesn't feel like Thanksgiving in the house unless there's some kind of Lions games in the background.

Michigan is one of the top programs in the country who could win the title any given year. You don’t play around with musical chairs for the head coaching role and use the program as a “showcase.” All that will do is breed instability and confusion. Who should the players listen to? They will win all of those games but it’s ridiculous. What a joke.

I'm pretty sure they know whats going on. Harbaugh is there during practice and its not like they're playing Penn State, Michigan State and Ohio State. They're playing scrub teams

Michigan is not a serious football program.

Since I can’t figure out how to embed tweets now, here you go. Four different head coaches for three games (including a head coaching game at half time vs UNLV!).

Could also mean that they're showcasing the coaches for future head coaching jobs in the future. Do you want them to go with one coach and be boring?

I would guess that the Pac will continue to exist in some form. Maybe the remnants merging with the Mountain West but keeping the Pac name for the better brand recognition. I mean, the Big West, WAC, and CUSA still exist, just not in ways that people are particularly fond of anymore.

UA, ASU, and Utah go to Big 12, Stanford goes Independent, but what happens to Cal, Washington State and Oregon State?

    "His smile and optimism... gone"

I've been following this more closely on r/CFB but with this news it's over for the Pac9. There is no other deal on the table for 2024 and zero networks are coming to save the remaining teams between now and next July or August with all this instability. Even if another offer were to miraculously appear today from Amazon, it'd be even lower than the Apple deal.

I'm just wondering what OSU/Wazzu/Utah plan on doing besides be regulated to the MWC because Cal/Stanford will never play there or with any G5 teams they attempt to bring in to round out the conference. They both can survive as independents and hold out for the B1G... another reason why I don't understand ASU president Crow wants to stick it out with Cal/Stanford - they are going to bounce first chance they get and not think twice about ASU.

I think this is all wrapped up by end of today...finally.

Because Crow is clueless about athletics. He would be happier if athletics went away so he could focus on academics

Huh. Pac 12 lost USC, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona.

What's it in for UW and Oregon? Gotta get out while the getting's good.

Arizona Board of Regents might block the move tothe Big 12 and Arizona might not go. Reports are Michael Crow might block any idea of ASU going to the Big 12 and ABR want both teams to stay or go togrther. Plus hearing the reports that if Washington and Oregon indeed stay, Arizona has said they would to.
