I hope Vince McMahon shows off his senility yet again and names every team the Experience.
And then changes it every week haha.
But seriously I am afraid that this venture will be a failure again -

Low hanging fruit, but the Cardinals have 42 retired for Bruce Sutter and Jackie Robinson.
Can the same be said for the Yankees with Mo?
I'm pretty sure that happened at the last home game for Mo.

I like that. Especially if a team doesn't have a ring yet, makes sense to have a banner to list all the years you reached a certain milestone, like division titles.
The Bruins do the same thing. List the years they won division titles, conference championships, and Presidents' Trophies. The Cup Banners are near it as well, I believe

Looks like the Capitals again updated the banners but only added the years.
It'll be interesting to see what the Wizards do for their division banner- 3

Anyways
Hence the major reason why I said after 1999 hit. Remember, ECW got d*cked over by TNN. Had ECW been somewhere else rather than TNN, they could have survived well into the 2000s. Maybe not in the same way as it was but I still feel like it COULD have become the #2 promotion, at least in the United States.

Were there two teal caps? The taller guy on the left is wearing teal hat with a purple brim, which I remember too.
I have the graphic somewhere but yes at one point there were supposed to be 4 caps. The teal one was scrapped before the season started. The white cap I have but barely wear it.

That link also helps. Granted it is very outdated but shows a lot of the Diamondbacks uniform history up to 2011 and other tidbits.- 2

3 banners for ONE season is ridiculous. Especially considering they didn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs in 2010.

Funny thing is those no longer exist. The Capitals have new ones up and the division champions banners is similar to the way the Bruins have it. A division champions banner with years added to it. Looks less cluttered that way, in my opinion

The Wings and Pistons will be sharing banner space at the new arena in Detroit next season.
Here's a shot of the current banners at the Joe and a render from the new arena:
If that is true for the Red Wings, I have an idea.
Get rid of the Regular Season Conference and Presidents' Trophy Banners and then you may not have such a mess. I have thought those banners were pointless for teams to have to begin with. I would equate that to those God awful Mystics "Attendance Champions" banners

What do you think of the design of a championship ring that displays a team's record so prominently?
Championship rings that show a team's won/loss record so prominently on the top of the ring are extremely rare - I can't think of another instance where a championship ring was designed to show off a team's record in this manner. Can anyone show some others that have been designed and made like the ring on the left?
I must say, I like it, and why not display their undefeated record?
I like it but at the same time I don't think it should be on the face of the ring.

Well they were founded in June 1946 as the BAA so technically it is correct.

The only team that I can think of off the top of my head that looks a bit clogged with banners is the Chicago Blackhawks
