I voted for Caribou. I think there could be some good unique branding opportunities there, and not so much "minor league" sounding.

I like Utah Caribou as well - dedicated fans would be the 'Bou Birds.

Utah Outlaws would be better than most of the others too.

Really wish they offered Utah Mammoths instead of Mammoth - seen some pretty great Mammoths concepts on IG.

I'm sure it was discussed a while ago...but I can't wait for those throwback jerseys to show up in the retail stores.  I really like that they went with the 1977-85 stripes in the jersey and pants (as a changeup from the more-known 90s b/w/b stripes). These are my favorite throwback unis in the league right now.  And the fact the new unis aren't great makes the throwbacks look even better.

A damn shame none of the pants have stripes.

    Also… where are the socks!?

Many college teams don’t really wear long socks.

Wish Iowa State also had a yellow alt helmet.

The black and white set still looks like garbage.

West Virginia needs to go back to glossy helmets.

  4. There are about three good combos and the rest are garbage. The number font looks collegiate - should have kept the old font. The white helmet is hideous.  The new navy helmet is a lateral move.

The sleeve stripes are cool but also close to something you’d see on a college jersey.

    Expected better.

At least the pants have stripes, even if they are some weird pattern. But they aren't bad by any semblance of the word.  How are they wearing the white helmet though, only with the navy set it looks like?

Alt helmet can only be worn with alt jersey

Whole set reminds me of late 2010s Arizona Wildcats. The white helmet with no stripes is just awful and generic.

Broncos leaked helmet -- Big yikes.

There's no way this is what Broncos the are doing. But the triangles match up with the what we saw on the jersey leak. 🤦‍♂️

This is garbage. From the smaller cutout decals on the side to the navy backgrounds on the decals (instead of just using the helmet finish), these are crap and unexpected downgrade

(if this is an authentic helmet)

The jerseys alone are decent. But i fear the rumored plain, un-striped, white helmet and pants will destroy the entire thing

Being truthful: Albright is a joke. An "NFL insider" who had it out with his fiancé OVER TWITTER after he was busted cheating last year.

Allbright's more reliable than some dude who said white was the only helmet, they'll have multiple facemasks, and they'd have a new "ice" color. I'm so glad Lukas published those made up rumors solely for clicks and nothing else.

Based on what I've read, those Fanatics pictures are AI mock up's based on the actual jerseys.  So the wordmarks could have been added by the AI.  Not having them on the blue seems to prove that out.  Otherwise, it doesn't make sense why the white and black would have it but the home doesn't.

    You're confusing AI with Photoshop

With the whole potential "reactivating the franchise talk" is it possible that the name, logos, etc... will be held for a new potential Arizona franchise and SLC will have a completely new identity?

Yeah, it's a Cleveland Browns-type scenario where the Coyotes' brand will stay in Phoenix and the team will be revived if an arena can be approved (or built?) in five years. The Utah team will have a brand new identity.

If the NHL returns to Phoenix, hopefully we get a return of the Kachina design but seems logical that it'd be recolored.

Jacksonville, Cleveland, Tampa and now NYJ have all backtracked a Nike redesign. Miami only adjusted the numbers on their Nike set. Otherwise Minnesota, Seattle, Atlanta, New England, Rams, Chargers, Cardinals and WFT all have kept their designs since getting them.

I'd say Minnesota and Seattle have kept theirs, since they're well past the five year window. In addition, the Titans have also kept their 2018 Nike design (and same with the Jags' second Nike attempt in 2018). Miami adjusted the numbers, got rid of the darker blue, and adjusted the shade of orange. The Falcons, Pats, Rams, Chargers, and Cardinals are in the 5-year window and can't change yet even if they wanted.

Really? One of the articles (mothership maybe?) specifically said the Jets would NOT have a third helmet this year.

Riddell probably knows more about the Jets’ plans than Andrew does right now.

Considering they’re one of the teams that could’ve done three helmets this season, I’m a little surprised they didn’t.

Jets will have at least two alternate helmets this year according to retailers getting ready to sell them. The second alternate could be green or black for all I know, and the MSRP is significantly higher than the unveiled green and black helmets. So perhaps a very unique paint and/or decal scheme.

If the throwback isn’t unveiled for ‘24 (assuming a regular price point) then decent chance we’ll see it for ‘25.

So technically this is a new version of the Browns helmet that's never been worn before. White facemask + shiny finish + oranger orange.

Plus thicker helmet stripes compared to 80s/90s version

    Nice work, thanks for sharing.

This just looks like the Cleveland Browns to me.  This is a good change.

Does this confirm a shell finish change as well?  Were they still wearing the more satin Orange last year?  This looks like a molded or painted gloss Orange.

They were indeed wearing the satin finish last year, and yep, it was confirmed that the glossy finish is back in 2024.

Utah Yetis;  Salt Lake Strikers; Salt Late Stingers; Utah Blizzard Eagles; Utah Icebirds; Utah Snowbirds; Utah Desert Eagles (if they can’t use Golden Eagles or just Eagles); Utah Snoweagles; Utah Yellowjackets (I could see Columbus rejecting this idea); Utah or Salt Lake Bison; Salt Lake Seagulls; Salt Lake Snowy Owls. Those are ideas I think would be alright choices. I hope this new team will at least use a unique colour. My choices would be either purple or a baby blue.

I don't think they'll go with Strikers (sounds far more like a soccer team than anything to do with hockey) or Snowbirds (people think of snowbirds as people who move to warm weather locales during the winter).

As mentioned several places back, the possibility of "Grizzles" depends on whether the Memphis NBA Grizzlies choose to protect that trademarked nickname or not. Yes its two different leagues, but IP law is IP law, and I don't know how much legal wrangling Smith et. al really feel like putting up with should Memphis choose to take it to the courtroom. Same thing goes for "Saints" due to the New Orleans NFL Saints. "Golden [Anything]s" is a complete non-starter thanks to the Vegas Golden Knights

If the Memphis Grizzlies wanted to flex whatever IP muscle they might, wouldn't they have already sued the Utah Grizzlies, the Montana Grizzlies, and the Oakland Golden Grizzlies?

IP law is centered around similarity and confusion caused between similar brands.

Apple Federal Credit Union exists because nobody confuses it with Apple Inc. Not sure how many people will confuse Memphis Grizzlies basketball with Utah Grizzlies hockey especially if the colors and logos are completely different.

The NHL is a league that has three teams with wings in their logos and nobody complains.

The weird thing is the full “New York Jets” wordmark shown on the team’s website is the font they teased in January, which is more Chiefs-like than 80s Jets. It’s a weird disconnect.

Jaguars throwback is awesome news. Hopefully the black is reserved for London and we'll start seeing teal throwbacks in primetime in Duval rather than all-black.

Not sure if anyone saw this. Not sure how they are doing this before the schedule is even out:

Since the opponents are known, they can generally plan what uniforms to wear against which teams

On the uni-watch article about the 3 helmet rule it states that Denver has hinted at using 3 helmets.  That was a couple pages back here.  At any rate, they also state it's been confirmed Denver's primary will be white.  Did I miss something?  I've only seen the speculation but not a confirmation.

I don’t think there has been any confirmation of a white primary helmet yet.

The NBA's Memphis Grizzlies might pitch a fit about that...

Not sure an NBA team has much to say about an NHL team.

We already have the Kings in each league
