Titletown: home of 13 NFL championships...2 of which have come since 1968.I've been a Dolphins fans since the days of David Woodley and Don Strock - but they've been lost in the woods since Dan Marino retired. I'm very familiar with the 1972 team...but, dude, save the 40+ year old "glory days" for Green Bay fans.
40 years ago? I don't think you meant to tack on that extra zero.

A list of "professional" teams shouldn't include the Dolphins? Your insight on NFL history is amusing. Google "1972 Dolphins" and come back to play sometime.
The original poster said more NFL teams need to use light blue. A list of "professional" teams shouldn't include the Dolphins and Jaguars.
Titans, lions, panthers, dolphins, and chargers all use light blue, you can add the jaguars to the list too if you want
Not unpopular with me, the NFL needs a team that uses light blue.No clue if this in unpopular or not, but I think the Houston Oilers looked much better than both the Titans and the Texans.

Now THAT is definitely an unpopular opinion. Here's mine: I absolutely despise the Sonics' color scheme mixed in with their identity. The colors work with the Packers for historical reasons, they look okay with the A's, but that color scheme is so outdated for some reason for the Sonics. When looking at pictures of Durant there in 2007 I feel like I'm watching a game from the 70's.
I hope if they return to the NBA that their brand gets a major overhaul.

I hate the Minnesota Wild green jerseys. Too plain. And yet most folks I know here LOVE that jersey.
-
Black, copper, and white - with the only barely-noticeable blue being on the sleeves - and that could easily be mistaken for black. The Capitals logo I actually like - the colors? Awful. This is better than the blue version of the home/away.

The Gateway Arch 3rd jersey - I know people love it - I think the arch looks completely out of place on it.
McDonald's ?I hate hate hate the St Louis Blues McDonald's arch 3rd jersey.

It's like Alex Rodriguez's bicep met Barry Bonds' head...if they were 'roided-up Blue Jays. Unpopular opinion indeed! Here's a huge unpopular opinion:
I love this logo. Everything about it works. It fits in well for it's era, and the head alone would make a great logo.
I happen to like Cooper-alls and the White Sox shorts experiment...

Groan...I can only assume you mean North Dakota STATE University and not the University of North Dakota. You know there is a difference, right?
Not going to lie, that looks kinda badass. Not for a pro team, but I could totally see a college team pulling something like this off with similar colors. (North Dakota). Unfortunately, 2234 teams will attempt to follow suit and it'll just look stupid, as with every wild NCAA uniform trend.I love seeing the custom jerseys that end up existing after the terrible fakes.

1929...12 team league...no playoffs. Regular season 1st place team is named champion.
1965...14 team league...1 playoff win gets you to the championship game.
I'm not going to disparage what the Packers accomplished from 1929-1931 and 1965-1967, but you're absolutely fooling yourself if you think a three-peat has a chance of happening again in today's NFL.
Sounds like you are a big Packer fan...so were you on Brett Favre's side until Aaron Rodgers won the Super Bowl, at which time you denied ever wavering in your support of management during Favre's squabble with Ted Thompson?
Continuing on with my own unpopular opinions, being as I live in Wisconsin...saw a ball-in-glove sticker on a car yesterday. Royal blue and yellow looks so good compared to the Brewers' current bland logo.
