And wearing #23!

Is Miami wearing a Zubaz helmet now?
-
Agreed, I love that Indians jersey too. The italicized C hat from that era is pretty awesome too.

The only thing I don't like about today's NHL replicas are the crappy shoulder patches and the lettering if you get them from NHL.COM. However if you buy from a place like coolhockey.com or icejerseys.com etc... you can get the better lettering at the same price.
I like the way the current replicas fit and feel, they are much more comfortable.

Glenn... Wrong name too.

wondering where did this guy get this from? The collar and "A" look suspicious to me...
Is this CM Punk in a fake?
Yep. Awful collar, you can see the thick stitching layer around the A, the 2, and even the Indian head. Most importantly, the crappy-looking thin C logos.
Are they easy to get them on the street out there?

I was thinking about something.....could the NHL be using Seattle as a stop-over before moving the team to Quebec City?
The NHL is pretty dead-set on realigning the league for next season, apparently. There's nothing definite about Seattle building a new arena (while QC is getting their arena built right now), and the NHL has said they'll re-visit the league's soon-to-be-adopted realignment plan after three seasons. By then, Quebec's arena will be completed (and possibly given a trial run by a minor league team), we'll have a good idea on Seattle being a worthy NHL market, and other teams with money issues (namely the Devils) would have three years to see which financial direction they're going in.....all the while the league's salary cap restraints (if I remember correctly) are set for the next couple seasons. (Did the league and NHLPA agree to a fixed cap limit for the next few years, in the $64-million neighborhood?)
The league is hell bent on realignment because Detroit and Columbus complained about going out West all the time. Of course, the ironic aspect this fervent desire for realignment is that if Detroit and Columbus were to stay out West, they would likely only play around 4 more games each in the Mountain or Pacific time zone than they would in the East thanks to the NHL's guarantee that each team plays at least a home and home.
Mainly, it's a playoff thing. The travel for West coast games is taxing, while Eastern teams can literally drive to the visitors arena.
All those scheduling losses add up!

Serious note... Are coyotes in Seattle/Washington?
-
I'm thrilled that Glendale has apparently wised up and this may be it for the Coyotes. I'm much less thrilled about them setting up a slapdash team in Seattle , rushing jersey/logos which will make the OKC Thunder's logo look like a painstaking design, and playing their games in a local ice rink.
Whose to say they aren't currently done/in the works?
-
"Well the photo quality doesn't look great but honestly it looks like you got exactly what you paid for."
do you mean they look the same as they do on the site?, or do you mean they look cheap?? I really like the ducks one, I would recommend getting one they look fantastic and are a neat addition to my jersey collection
I would say they look cheap. The stitching on the numbers and letters and the material they are made from is a dead give away of a fake.

I still don't get why that's preferable to 20,000 a night in Quebec, but whatevs.
To keep Hockey Related Revenue therefore salaries lower?

Plastic bags are one of your biggest knockoff signs. I've never seen a legit jersey sold in a plastic bag. They're typically just folded on the shelf (ala Pro Hockey Life or SportChek)
I have had legits from NHL.com arrive in plastic bags.

In how many American markets with 3+ "top four+" teams (even the hockey hotbeds) does the NHL team have a legit claim in being #1 or #2?
I can only really come up with Detroit.
Denver could but that would only be "who's the best right now other than the Broncos", and not an "always" case.
If they were to get an NBA team I could make a case for Pittsburgh and even that is only because the Pirates have been so awful for two decades now (I know they're good this year). Historically though, the Pirates would still trump the Pens.
Any other 3-big 4 cities, were they to acquire the missing one however, I don't think it would happen in.
You wouldn't think it, but in Detroit its Lions #1 and what ever team is doing better at the time for #2
-
Man, it seems like the league is doing what ever it can to drive down HRR in order to keep the cap down.
-
-
Who would these 4-6 teams be?
I'd just go with Coyotes and Panthers. People attend Predators games and Carolina has the ownership and management that seems willing to make it work.
-
I'm not getting all the hate for the Ravens' ring.

I got my replicas counterfeits from www.weiketrade.hk ,But it just fits me.I'm almost equally shocked they have not reproduced them period, they could easily sell a couple hundred (legit RBK/CCM ones).
Since the demand is there I am surprised we have not seen Burger King and Wild Wing fakes yet.
I think they'd be kind of hard due to neither of them being "normal" jersey templates. Wildwing with the full jersey logo and the Burger King with the weird full jersey stripes and upper chest logo.
Also most people who are looking for counterfeit jerseys don't know why those jerseys are so big, so the counterfeit market is more for current jerseys.

Off topic, but my god, look at those jerseys! I can't believe we're only like what, 6 years removed from those? 7 maybe?
I mean look at them! Plain is fine, subtle is fine, old school is fine.... But these? Yikes. These are too much. It kinda fascinates me honestly, that something this plain and this terrible could exist in the 2000's.
Raiders?

Does everyone think that the potential buyers (whom are Canadian) will keep the team in the desert? I call BS on them saying that they will.
That bid reportedly has an out clause after five years.
The Coyotes could have used that clause in the mid 90's
2001 would have been the earliest

I was at the Cleveland Indians team store last year and they had game worn and game issued jerseys of unknown players for like $50, I'm still kicking myself for not picking one up.
