Gotta say, I really like what the Falcons did with their endzones.

Whoa, hold up--there's one for the obscure uniform detail files. I never realized the Chargers had solid navy bolts on their helmets that first, for however short-lived that was.
Yeah, the sheer amount of tweaks the Chargers made from 1960-73 is always interesting to look at.

NBC basically nationally broadcasting a torture/murder in South Bend, ND 37 BC 0 at time of posting.
Edit: there's a "just add a flurry" joke in here somewhere...but I'm no Chris Rock, so I'll just say said televised murder is now a snow game.

So, I went to the Suns/Jazz game in Salt Lake City tonight, and the Suns were wearing thier new city uniform. I really like the idea and theme behind it, but the jersey numbers were really hard to read from where I was sitting (very top of the lower bowl). A couple of my friends I went to the game with said the same thing. The multicolor inline stroke causes a little bit of a jarring effect from that distance, and led to the numbers reading less like numbers and more like a separate graphic of some kind.
I’m guessing it looks better and more legible for refs on the court, but it really wasn’t from at least the mid-level stands.
Yeah, that's one of those things that tends to look better on a fashion jersey than one actually being worn in a real game.

Former Wisconsin RB Brent Moss has passed away at 50
Man...this hits me. Many places have a local legend, Moss was that dude to Racine. I remember after the Badgers won the Rose Bowl, the three starters from Racine (Moss, WR J.C. Dawkins and punter Sam Veit) were honored downtown, and there was an autograph session (the only other athlete whose autograph I've gotten is LeRoy Butler). If, to borrow from TV Tropes, Ron Dayne was the Trope Maker of Running Back U, Brent Moss was the Ur Example.

If you're playing FIFA 23 and have the World Cup DLC you'll be amazed at just how lazy EA has become. Brazil wear Argentina kits in the World Cup Mode.
I'm not exactly in a rush to buy a new console, largely because of how poor of a job EA seems to do with Madden nowadays. It's like they don't care if the games they release are any good, or even function properly, as long as the microtransactions keep basically printing money for them.

Given the same seller has this on sale...
...probably just a fashion jersey. CCM seems to have done that a lot. Cool design though, I gotta say.
On a related note, there sure are a LOT of Coyotes Gretzky jerseys floating around considering he never played for them.

With the Bears and Bruins both screwing something up badly today, I'm halfway hoping somebody on the Grizzlies put his jersey on backwards or something to complete the bear team failure trifecta...

Christian Watson looking like he ain't scared...and for the first time in over a month, this feels like a comeback the Pack can pull off.
Edit: huh...the first Packers-Cowboys game to ever go to OT. Who knew?

Are we sure Jeff Saturday's never coached before? Sheesh, if the Raiders lose this one, Josh McDaniels may as well fake his own death and go to his own funeral as a guy named Phil Shifley before disappearing into whatever abyss claimed Rich Kotite.

Man, it feels like it's been an eternity since the Packers have had a lead.

So...a game the Bears probably should've iced by now is on the line because of a rash of dumb penalties and an interception. So it's time to see if Fields can bail this foolishness out.
Edit: the Lions got a beast in this Hutchinson mug
Edit: congrats for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Bears.

So...somehow, we're here...where somehow, someway, with Texas no longer available, the best consolation prize for the Pac 12 is, of all places, SMU.

Tonight in Iowa City, one of the least competent displays of quarterbacking you'll see this year.

That's neat. I wondered if/when 3d-style logos would make it to NFL helmets like they have with MLB batting helmets. It's probably not practical since they'd get knocked off and would be tough to clean, but it's still neat to think about 3d wings or horns.
Wouldn't be practical every week, but maybe Super Bowl only?
Onto the Broncos survey, I gotta wonder what the point of including the gold/brown was, I'm fairly certain nobody wants to go away from orange/blue. I'd be interested in something like the mid 60s jerseys, but then I'm not who they're aiming at.

Last in this series, then I'll be starting the WHA party...thought about avoiding it, but figured I'd do another one that's red but different...in this case, the simplified version of the now-old Edge design. As far as the gold C and numbers, I saw an example jersey that had the numbers exactly like that - gold outlined in red and black on red - once and liked how it looked. Opponent tonight is Nashville, with a gold version of that alternate jersey they had back when they were still wearing silver, using the Winter Classic sabretooth as the crest.
Thanks for viewing, and please tip the zamboni driver. Keep an eye out in the next few days for the start of the WHA series.

How do you relocate a team that never actually played there?
Easily...hit backspace on Tampa Bay, type in Memphis

I was under the weather this weekend, so I got delayed a bit. Figured the 2000s uniforms will be pre-Edge...so a gold version of their pre-Edge jersey for Calgary, and the Stars get an all-black version of the star jersey with two-tone green trim. Normally I wouldn't have used any proposed logos, but I figured the Calgary boot (one of many logos the Flames rejected for their alternate jersey several years ago) might be a good fit.

In a breather from the Kyrie melodrama, the Bucks remain the last undefeated team, are 8-0 for the first time in team history, triple double for Giannis, and this Beauchamp kid looks pretty solid
Not enamored with the late start, not gonna lie, it's Minnesota, not LA.

Late night 90s night special, as the gradient treatment took me a while...and I kinda overslept. Anyways, here we go. A sans-black version of the podium jersey with an equally black-free Blasty on the front, and I figured I'd go more gold-heavy to further differentiate this from the original...figured I'd put a bit of a twist on the Angry King jersey, with a modified gradient based on the LA flag's zigzag. Since I have a Clarendon variant installed, I used that. I'd initially considered using the coat of arms and the 2000s crown instead, but figured what the hell.
Not sure what I'll do for the 2000s yet...I just know what I know

I would be supportive of a new wizard focused alt logo for Washington. Karate wizard, particularly recolored, has always felt very off to me.

Once again, the Bears are a bout of poor execution away from victory...and on that last drive, poor play calling.
Since there's no CFL thread, it's Grey Cup night...go crazy Canada and Go Argos!
