They going to change the whites back to royal too?

Will be odd if home is royal while road and alt are navy

Royal and old orange for the home and away uniforms according to Tom Gazzola (local reporter who first released the news back in March or April).

    Source?

A few media members have mentioned it, and fans on Twitter and HFBoards have heard the same thing from people in the organization. The people who were in charge with switching to these colours/jerseys in 2017 are no longer employed by the team either.

I hope it also means matching road with royal blue stripes and not navy.

He says in the clip the aways will have royal instead of navy. The current alternate is sticking around, and the reverse retro will be based on the McFarlane jerseys from the early/mid 2000s.

  4. The fans really wanted the EE logo back on the helmets.

Still hoping there are new uniforms on the way. Last year's weren't great. The homes with the white numbers were particularly bad.

The pant stripe the Esks/Elks have been using for years no longer matches the stripe on the new helmet (the colours have been flipped).

  5. I grabbed this from a reaction video the Elks tweeted out yesterday. Looks like a big #2 on the (back of the?) helmet. One of the alumnis in the video also comments that "it takes us back to the beginning."

The helmet stripe is now White/Green/White in the tweet monkeypower posted above. It was G/W/G/W/G from 1996-2019, and G/W/G from 1967-95.

The Elks didn't have one last year except for a single green stripe on the alternate helmets.

Weird to (maybe) have a uniform change after only one season following a rebrand, unless last year's jerseys were just a rush job to have "new" jerseys for the season (which they did kind of seem that way a bit).

There was a rumour before Covid hit that New Era was supposed to do a league-wide redesign, and it was pushed back to this upcoming season.

  7. The Oilers are wearing their navy alternates tonight in San Jose and tomorrow in Los Angeles because the Kings want to wear their whites with the silver helmets.

Also, there was a report before the season that the navys were now the homes, and the oranges would become the alternates. That ended up being wrong.

  8. Here are the helmet sponsors for the 32 teams this season. Some teams have sponsors on all their helmets, some on just one set, and four teams don't have sponsors at all. Arizona and Columbus added sponsors after the season started.

Prudential is donating its helmet space to a (not yet selected) Black-owned, local business for 13 Devils games this season.
