Obligatory elephant-in-the-room question: If all these Big XII schools bolt for the Big Ten and Pac-10, what becomes of the schools that are left behind (Iowa State, Kansas, K-State etc.)? There's not enough of them to form a conference of their own, even if Notre Dame were to join them.

They join what's left of the Big East and become the Big Losers conference.

And no, that's not anything I'm rooting for.

you'll notice that there is a sharp north-south line where Nebraska, Kansas, KState, etc. all stop and then there's a vast wasteland until you get to the West Coast.

I don't know about you, but I don't think anyone would consider the Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis a step down from MSG.

Actually, I think several people would think a tournament in flyover country is indeed a step down from playing at MSG.

It actually begs the question -- which uniform should Terrell be associated with? He was good on the 49ers, but he wasn't a super-duper star until the Eagles. And while he was a big deal both there and in Dallas, it always felt like he played more for Terrell Owens than for any team whose uniform he wore.

It's kind of like Randy Moss, but on a different scale. At this point, what team should Moss be associated with? Probably the Vikings, but it feels like forever since he's played there.

Yuck!

They'd be awful plain now, but I really liked those Mavericks uniforms. I thought they were clean, colorful, and classy.

If only every team that wore them didn't stink.

Hit a nerve with Len Bias. Had Bias not killed himself, Boston would've won at least 5 more titles. I mean you would've had Bias, Bird, McHale, Parish, Johnson. Need I Continue? I am way too young to know this but I do know my NBA history and I may be correct when I say the Cs would have at least 20 NBA championships cuz no one could've matched up with that roster...
