So are they ripping off the Chargers now?
I guess it turns out that "H-Town Blue" is just La La Land Blue

Just my take, but it's like they're shouting "hey, look at us!" - just like a mid-tier college team does to try to get attention. You're not the UTEP Miners of the "who gives a conference", you're the Denver Broncos of the NFL. Dress accordingly.
Your UTEP analogy is spot on. That is almost exactly who they look like.

I get the feeling that they have one, and their current set is generally popular with their fans. But you are one of their fans; what have you heard others say?
From my anecdotal experience, it is a mixed bag. I know the younger fans like the current set, but I'm not sure if it is well-liked by anyone else. I will.admit that the current set's shortcomings aren't as egregious as that of the other Nike uniforms that have been dumped, but they look stale now. On the other hand, the throwbacks have been loved by almost all fans.

Is that now 3 teams that have gone back to their previous throwbacks after the "Nike-ified" changes? Says a lot about their creative department.
I wish the Seahawks would get a clue.

I don't mind the Stingers name, but the last thing the NHL needs is another black & yellow team
Agreed. The NHL needs another black and yellow team like it needs another red and black team.

We've arrived at the slippery slope some of us have been warning about...and the NFL has dived head first over the edge, prodded by Nike.
It won't stop at allowing a 3rd helmet...every team is going to become Oregon.
In a few years the NFL will announce they're allowing teams to have a 26th helmet...
I can't wait for City Connect (or whatever Nike will choose to call them) helmets.

Not one speck of red. Nice job, Nike...

I definitely think Rollins should be in the HOF but I'm not sure if he was better than Larkin. Larkin was a better contact hitter and they were pretty comparable in the field (Rollins may have been a bit better). Larkin's WAR is better (if you're into that kind of stuff). He also was voted to the All-Star Game 12 times; Rollins was only voted 3 times. I know that might not be the best benchmark to use as it is somewhat of a popularity contest, but it does show that Larkin was the best SS in the NL for a while. He and Ripken were the best in that era at that position. Just providing an argument but I'll say again that Rollins definitely deserves to be in Cooperstown.
