  1. Phone, I appreciate you telling me it'll be 27 minutes to get to work, but let's wait til tomorrow hits first. Pump the brakes a lil bit.

  2. RT @MasterChefJrFOX: Season 2 of #masterchefjunior starts cooking Friday, Nov. 7 at 8/7c on @FOXTV! More here: http://t.co/F2aXzKFBMN http:…

  3. yes $35 a piece. but that "piece" is the important part. dont spend $35 on EVERY logo and bit of work you do. make a book, put everything in it, then for the same price, all of your work in it is protected This is a much cheaper way to do it...I had a twitter photo stolen and used on a very bad Alabama website that mocked me, Auburn, and everything else and they never credited to me and it infuriated me. So I had some guys tell me about the $35 per piece. If I remember my IP Law class correctly, you could copyright a website and continually upload your content to it and not even need a book.
  4. This is all great! Thanks for sharing. The bottom line, unfortunately, is this: if they're not directly making money off the "plagiarism," there isn't a whole lot you can do aside from asking "Hey, either give me credit or please stop posting my work" or (going off Moore's advice) feigning gratitude with a "Thanks for sharing my work!" tweet/comment. You could even go one step further and somewhat hijack the post by saying "Thanks for the kind words about my work! If you'd like to see more, check out my website/portfolio here!" Every situation is different, but all points offered in this thread are extremely valid.

  7. That's kinda my point. His bio now says "I make my own designs/logos and. (post concepts from all over )"
  8. I had this happen to me pretty recently as well - Remember my Washington Nationals redesign? The SAME GUY ripped it - twice. http://dailysnark.com/new-redskins-concept-logo/ https://www.behance.net/gallery/17749739/Washington-Nationals-Concept-Rebranding- I was able to get him to credit me for the original design, but the biggest problem I have with it is: He's the "Head Guy" over at NFLMemes, which means he should know better. I don't know if there's any "true" way we can protect our work, aside from watermarking the hell out of it.
  9. I get to call @uverse about my bill today. Turns out, when they said they'd lower my bill, they didn't! Great!
