Probably because it was the color rush from the previous uniform design, and the fact that they used royal blue from the 1970s to the 1980s.

All of the Chargers uniform combos are good. They have one of the best sets in the league.

Are any of the throwbacks from the teams planning to reveal to the public in the Madden game already? If so, which ones and teams'?

There's a lot of teams who I liked their uniforms better during the Reebok era than when they were in Nike.

What are other times when a team had two players with the same first and last name? The only one I can think of is the Cowboys in 2008 with two Roy Williams.

One change I'd suggest: I'm a sucker for the old Cardinals road jerseys, with the thick red stripes on the sleeves outlined in black. Instead of gray stripes and stars on the white jersey, I'd like to see the stripes red and outlined in black or, perhaps simpler, just outline the star in black and leave the stripes red. It would be a nice homage to these old classics.

From the way that the white color rush is talked about, it sounds like they are loved enough to be kept around. Most teams don't keep their color rush uniforms when they go into a new uniform design.

The Bengals will have new uniforms, if the rumors about them is true. Green Bay and the LA Rams will have a new alternate. Who else will have something new in 2021?

Here's the game I said. The only time the Chargers wore powder blue against Tampa Bay.

The Chargers haven't worn powder blue against the Buccaneers before. Week 4 of 2020 will be the first time.

Rivers in a Colts uniform is so weird. 

I associate him with the Chargers. 

It's going to be weird seeing Philip Rivers in a uniform other than the Chargers. I was used to him being in nothing but the lightning bolt team.

I like the Chargers current uniform set better than the ones prior to up til 2006. The navy jersey is underrated, and so is the white one.

1. Tom Brady has played two games at University of Phoenix Stadium, but he has never played the Cardinals there. The Pats have played two Super Bowls there, but only played the Cardinals at home since the stadium was built.

Many teams have yet to play at University of Phoenix Stadium. This year will be the Bengals and Ravens first time visit. The Chargers last year had to visit the venue for the first time in the regular season.
