The league just needs consistency. Teams should be forced to designate a certain jersey for home and away that they must wear for 75% of those games. The Bucks being a green at home team is fine, and i think they should make that their home look,  they just need to wear it consistently.

I also think Statement jerseys should just be a recolor of the Association/Icon editions. Save the out there designs for the City editions.

I understand having a placeholder logo/uniforms for year 1 but there’s no reason they can’t pick out a name before the start of the season. I really hope they do

FFS. Using a temporary nickname and changing it after one season might actually be even worse than just being called Utah HC for a season.

  3. No idea if it's related to Smith or the NHL, but the following were recently registered with the USPTO for the purpose of ice hockey exhibitions:
    • Utah Venom
    • Utah Blizzard
    • Utah Fury
    • Utah Hockey Club
    • Utah HC
    • Meh 1
    • Facepalm 1
  4. Sorry for the confusion. The rule is that there has to be a logo somewhere in the logo package. It does not have to be the main logo.

And @pepis21 is correct that everything before the rule was grandfathered in. As far as the Blazers, I think theirs was technically considered a logo tweak and not a full rebrand.

    That's easy.

    USFL: Panthers, Stallions, Showboats
XFL: Roughnecks, Renegades, Brahmas, Defenders, Battlehawks

    Quote

The eight-team UFL will include five teams from the XFL: the D.C. Defenders (who will play home games at Audi Field), Arlington (Tex.) Renegades (Choctaw Stadium), Houston Roughnecks (home venue to be determined), San Antonio Brahmas (Alamodome) and the St. Louis Battlehawks (The Dome at America’s Center). Three teams will come from the USFL: the Birmingham (Ala.) Stallions (Protective Stadium), Memphis Showboats (Liberty Stadium) and Michigan Panthers (Ford Field), a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed.

I never fully trust Footy Headlines but they're claiming that Miami, LAFC, LA Galaxy, Portland and Sporting KC are all going to get third kits this year.

Combined with the four teams who got them last year, it does seem to suggest that 1) third kits will also operate on two-year cycles and not just get tossed aside after one year, and 2) it seems unlikely that the old "meet a sales threshold" rule is still in effect.

They also claim that Miami's third kit will be inspired by the Miami Dolphins

Blue and red court is certainly something.

With my Bucks in white and the Pacers stuck in yellow, what happens if we get a Bucks-Pelicans finals? Both the Pacers and Lakers can play a white vs yellow matchup against whoever, but can you have the Bucks wear green or the Pelicans wear navy? The league already disallowed both the Bucks and the Lakers from their their city jerseys because of contrast, so what do you do if both teams can only contrast with white?

Well, now that the Pacers have advanced, will it be yellow vs yellow if the Lakers win?

Theres pics going around on social media of the Bucks selling LILLARD 0 jerseys.

This means Marjon Beauchamp is gonna have a new number. If he goes with 00 it'll be the first time a team issued 0, 00, and 99 (Jae Crowder) all at once.

    He is switching to #3
