  1. Oh! Jeez! For some reason just JohnnyCharger's thing notified me and I was busy and it didn't seem like an immediate need! I missed all the rest of your requests! Lemme get back to you! Sorry.
  2. Yeah. In the end, if their Los Angeles claims feel cringey and they don't want to go by Anaheim, California is the way to go.
  3. While I agree on Anaheim, I didn't think anyone besides Arnold stretched that to five. Then again, I pronounce "crayon" as one syllable.
  4. There are three reasons a team is allowed to go with a state name. 1. They want to claim multiple close markets and don't want to step on any toes and represent everyone. Minnesota Twins invented this. The Florida Marlins, Golden State Warriors, and California Angels followed suit. Tampa Bay isn't a state but all those teams do the same. 2. They have a huge market and want to tap into regional pride rather than just claiming one small municipality within it. Carolina Panthers/Hurricanes, Arizona Cardinals/Diamondbacks, New England Patriots/Revolution 3. It works with the team name to represent something that inspired the name. Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils Angels do fall firmly in 1. I think their leaning into Hollywood culture is as silly as what the Miami GP did with marketing when the closest water is a brown, fetid canal. Their best self is just leaning into their team identity rather than trying to claim LA. I prefer Anaheim, but California should be the only other option.
  5. I think it's my age that is doing this, but... I don't... hate these. It's a bubbling nostalgia of the kind of trucker hat I'd expect to see on the 4th in the 90's. I hear Bruce Springsteen in my head. I see fireworks the night sky. It's one of those instances where my head says this is an atrocity, but my heart kinda enjoys it, even from a "this is so goofy and stupid that it makes me smile" way.
  6. Wow. It wasn't until reading this that I realized just how much the Angels AGAIN refused to take any side in their identity and connect to no city as they went with a vague local idea that covers the entire region but avoids any specific reference to one municipality. They're the Angels Angels of Angels.
  7. Only if they make the outline white. Purple seems like the perfect color to pop against the white and completely blend with the green. Having the break would make it much more clearly visible even with the different backgrounds.
  8. Whoa! I love it. It's like if the Angels existed in the 70's. Wait. I can't believe I never knew before that Bundy went on that spree with another CCSLCer
  9. The cigar tail is beautiful. Would probably never get away with it, but it does really look good.
  10. With the supply chain issues clearing up, do we have a good view of what everyone has? I hear people speaking about things still missing. Does the suggested limit of four (+ City Connect, it seems) hold weight? Perfection, although I still think the plack piping just disappears and it looks better with the clean design they just switched to. Not a chance. They're going to go with just the Rays so they can wear them home too. Columbia Blue brightens up the Trop so well. At least, the best they can hope for. I do know that at some point in history dark uniforms were reserved for night/indoor games due to the sun. At least, the umps seemed to do this. Is this still held to? I feel like a few teams get by because their most iconic periods were during the Powder Blue Era (Royals and Phillies championships, Brewers pennant, and Blue Jays and Expos origins)
  11. Well, @johnnycharger51096, if you just want a look at how everything looks, here is it all with Pitt being represented by the script logo rather than the period accurate ones.
  12. Hehehe, it took me a little bit to figure things out because your signatures were named after two different past names, and most times you've come back things are being traded out like crazy. Oops! Sorry. Somehow the Pats got lost in the shuffle.
  13. @eegl75, it took me a little bit to get it looking right, but... this was what I got. Stars are hard. ._. @GrayJ12, the Rams just won and they're gone? Hehehe. Your fandom continues to be as hard to pin down as your screen name. @bernie57, welcome to embracing Los Angeles! Taking the national championships and bowl wins of the latter ones, it's wound up two banners larger than the board's size restrictions are. Are there any possible changes to avoid this? Thanks!
  14. It's less that and more the fact that the pinstripes aren't centered. Why?! I actually think the hat is perfect-ish. But the huge, block letters across the chest are just bleh. Why couldn't we have gotten the Nationals cursive emulating a cherry tree branch with more blossoms coming off of it? Just generic block. The outline is probably just there because otherwise a navy logo on navy wouldn't work. I actually think the brighter colors are better given their surroundings. It injects a breath of fresh air. The darker colors are made all the more drab by the lack of sunlight. See the last Brewers set. They might be my least favorite. Emptiness. Blah. How could you come up with a uniform that is so nothing. Even the inclusion of black would have provided some contrast to give it some life. While I'd usually agree, I like the color of the pants numbers and if you went white/gray, you'd have to change that to just navy so they don't blend in. Isn't the whole point to be insular? People were saying they'd hate the Nationals ones to use terms that are only used outside the city. It's connecting to the local culture. I'd love them to get super local. So, I got a private message on Wikipedia. Someone passed this onto me: This true? Anyone able to confirm or deny? It would explain some of the missing alts that are not specifically stated to be supply issues.
  15. Sorry, @eegl75. It's been a busy Memorial season. I swore I'd previously done the Stars, but I can't for the life of me find it. But here's everything else!
  16. The brick is legendary and from the look of their past anniversary logos, they know it. That TH actually looks more distinct compared to the last one.
  17. The Ramirez isn't... too bad. Bieber looks worst thanks to every letter but one having the serif at the top. All of them next to each other looks so cluttered and discordant. But I like the more plain font. There's plenty of precedent for it and it's a nice nod to the past. Of course, I'm a NNOB guy, but it is what it is. The same reason why no matter what the rest of the set looks like, the plack piping on the black jersey just doesn't belong. It blends in. Sometimes you gotta break the rules, like the random silver on the Atlanta navy alt. Just looks the best. Colorado's appears white on the website. Seattle's looks... kinda possibly darker. But it may be just such a light silver that it's hard to see in that photo. Looking at the collection, it appears that the rule is generally that if you have a single-colored insignia, the logo is the same color (Yankees white, Mets orange, Braves white, Pirates gold). If the insignia has an outline, the logo is generally the same color (Boston white, Angels white, Cubs white). There are some random exceptions, probably choices made by the teams on individual basis.
  18. It's an odd quirk of design with one-color marks on items alongside multi-color logos. Do you go with the most prominent color in the logo, or the outtermost, since that's what was chosen to sit on the background color? The white maker's mark was what Majestic also went with at least from the late 00's on. Similar things play out on caps (Minnesota, Boston, Seattle, Colorado). NFL uniforms already have some small marks on the chest. Always a wordmark. Sometimes others like anniversary patches and the Chiefs' AFL patch. A tiny swoosh would barely be noticeable in the same location. But they were that at their inception. They went with California because they moved to Anaheim and wanted both markets. Same reason the Twins went with Minnesota. They've represented every branch of the military. Time to honor those brave men and women that risk their lives and their lungs painting tanks and jeeps. Huh... The ballpark that inspired a thousand ridiculous outfield jogs finally has one of its own. Love the look. Haven't realized until seeing it now (maybe it's the proportion of this specific logo), but it's funny the team strives to go for a neon light aesthetic when I associate neon in baseball with another team, one in their very division.
  19. @Bruhammydude, it doesn't usually affect anything, but it comes out to 98 banners to not get shrunk by the way the board got scrunched by the new-ish side panel. But you've got a lot to celebrate. I have had to break it into two pics vertically, but if you did that, you'd have to drop the Bucks pic, since you can only have two pics at a time. Here you go. The only drawback is the lack of the modern Marquette look, but hopefully they'll pick a high finish up soon.
  20. @Dalcowboyfan92 Dude... So sorry. I never got a notification that there was a reply in here until Crabcake replied (although I was busy and just got back here). It was an easy fix. Here it is: @Crabcake, I've only now realized that there's been a big error on your sig this entire time. I somehow had the 65 and 74 FA Cups in there twice. Also, you'd previously repped Liverpool's League Cup wins, so I made a version with and without them depending on which you prefer. @Bruhammydude, I'm sorry but that is tooooooo many. With the updated to the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers (never realized how many B's there were), there's only four spots left. Even now, due to the newer board changes that made it so that your current sig is shrunk and blurry. There are a few ways of fixing this. Perhaps only keeping the National Championships and bowl wins of Wisconsin and the Final Four and up for Marquette or perhaps dropping the wild card wins of the Packers and Brewers? Also, I have the original Mayo Bowl trophy. Do you want the repaired version instead?
  21. Hrm. The addition of the new box seems to have truncated the size of posts. I'd attempted to cut down on the size of one of my signature image options to clear clutter and allow two on one line, but now one barely fits one and a third and the pixel art championships have been shrunk beyond legibility before I cut the amount down a bunch. I was working on updates, but this formatting change may have made it kind of a moot point.
  22. Here ya go, @SpenserRM! I didn't even realized the NASCAR championship cup had changed! Hmm... I'm in a tough spot right now. The formatting for the images are different for each league, and for the NFL it's the biggest legend(s) or moment (Immaculate Reception, Music City Miracle, first Lambeau Leap) for the franchise on the left and fans on the right. Currently the Bucc's pic is of Dwight Smith and Ronde Barber from their 2002 win, but now that that's one half of the team's championships happened a week ago, should I change to Brady and Gronk? What is Tampa's biggest champion right now? Meanwhile, with Harden breaking his way out of Houston I am absolutely officially changing it from past legend and current star, because current stars just get bounced around so friggin' much that I'm changing them every year.
  23. @_J_ Here ya go! I actually saw your sig in the wild a day or two ago and was mortified at how janky the top of the harp came out. This gave me a chance at smoothing that out too!
