My packers shareholders ring, and unlike college rings those diamonds are real

New ring added to my collection

Sam Shields...
Yeah like the tat just don't think I would have put it there...

Forgive my ignorance, but do all Packers shareholders and/or season ticket holders get a ring? How much do they cost? That's pretty dang cool.
Every shareholder/season ticket holder has the option to purchase a ring. Prices range from $400-$2500 depending on what options you want.

Anyone seen anything about Uconn's national championship ring yet?
-
For three innings yesterday I sat next to the GM of the Columbus Clippers. He was wearing this ring:
Thats pretty cool, i like the logo in the middle

yeah I really hope they offer it again, in 97 is was only 13 so I couldn't buy any. I heard they were thinking of doing it again to help pay for them adding seating to Lambeau..I hope so!!

I put up pics of the Packers season ticket holder rings.
Blogspot apparently doesn't like hotlinking, so I'll move them to Photobucket soon.
Looks basically like the shareholders ring. I agree with you still don't understand why they didn't put Lambeau on the ring.

Fuzzy Thurston to auction off his Super Bowl 2 ring to pay taxes..wish I could buy it to give it back to him. It's a shame.

At least the Packers put diamonds on the "G" to equal ALL the World Championships, not just the four mist recent.
Oh and I'm glad they did, I mean you have to. You can't just brush all the other championships under the rug just because they weren't Super Bowl wins. I've gotten into this debate before with people who said that anything before the super bowl doesn't count because most of the time there was no playoff system. But thats just how the NFL at the time was set up. It' s still part of the teams history and the NFL's. So yes the packer only have 4 super bowl wins compared to the steelers 6, but at the end of the day we still have 13 total! (championships that is)
They also did the same for the 1996 ring, Part of the "G" was made up of 12 diamonds, and the inside part of the "G" had 3 diamonds repersenting the super bowl wins.

Has anyone noticed this yet? while I was on the Jostens website looking at the Packers new Bling, I saw this pic.
They have the scores of the playoff games and the team logos of the teams they beat on the way to their fourth championship engraved on the inside.
And this is why I hate the Super Bowl.
Because no one care about the 47 years before the super bowl I'm guessing? I agree with you.

I think most times when the visiting team wins the Conference Championship, the league usually gives them the championship trophy in the visiting locker room.
I was on the field for the Pats celebration in Pittsburgh for the 04 season. It was pretty awesome. Trophy was presented on the field in 01 when we beat them there, too.
Not sure if it changed across the board or what.
maybe..half the bears fans were gone after Cutler left the game. One guy said congrats on your win and walked out in the 3rd. They don't have faith in their back ups. Was funny as hell!

Yes, it's very cool.
The other side has a reference to the post-game speech Charles Woodson gave after the NFC Championship game. This is the best picture I can find so far:
I wish they would have put his comment about the president inside the ring as well
I was at the game was was pissed they didn't do the trophy presintation on the field

This is really cool!
also here's the blackhawks ring again incase no one seen it
-
This is really cool, the making of the Packers ring. Check out the inside of the ring it listed the teams they beat in the playoffs.
Here's the video again since I'm guessing when I posted it no one saw it, I also noticed the inside of the ring, thanks for finding still pictures of it bucboy02. I couldn't seem to find those.

Don't know if this link has already been posted, and aren't keen to wade through 22 pages of posts just to find out, but, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak:
MLB and NFL championship ring gallery page on Jostens Web site
(Link courtesy of the Packers' Facebook feed. The page also features the Blackhawks' 2010 Stanley Cup ring.)
yeah I posted both those videos not that long ago..not sure if anyone ever saw them. I also posted one on the making of the lakers rings.

HOLY CRAP! They are HUGE! Does it still classify as a ring if they weigh 4 lbs, have more diamonds than Africa, and cover your whole finger. I now understand why they always sell them...
THose diamonds are fake and most the time the ring isn't real gold

And the 2008 Florida ring

3 rings for 1 season?
A conference ring and a National Title right seems like a bit of over kill. But a National Title and BCS ring?
yeah every team that wins the national gets all three since the start of the BCS
I am not a ring-follower, but I don't think that's correct.
yes it is, Alabama got the same thing.
-
Yes, it would. Seems very silly.
The Packers aren't getting 2010 NFC Champions rings. Why would they?
yeah thats the point we're making, why get a BCS ring and a national champs ring.
Hey Gothamite got a question for you shoot me a PM when you get a chance.
-
Wouldn't that be like the Bruins getting an Eastern Conference title ring, a Stanley Cup ring and a NHL Champions ring? lol
Pretty much, or the packers getting a NFC, super bowl and nfl ring. That just means more rings that the college kids will sell...

I was wondering when auburns rings where coming..I like the SEC ring..but why does the national championship ring have the Lombardi trophy on it? It looks a lot like the Patroits ring

Those NBA Championship rings are terrible. After 1983, they lose not only the consistency, but also some of the designs just don't make any sense when including the franchise's history. The only team that seemed to stay grounded was the Spurs, but theirs isn't great either.
See I disagree, I think all the ones before 83 were boring. It is nice to see that the teams started designing their own. But thats just me.
I don't have a problem with them breaking the mold and creating their own, but of the designs are just awkward. Look at the Lakers 1985 ring... Black? Why not Purple? Or their logo like the Celtics did with their 1986 championship ring? By the way, they do it again in 1988. They had five diamonds for the five championships in Los Angeles, so why revert back to one in the 1988 championship ring?
There's no doubt the rings prior to 1983 were boring, but I'd rather have something simple like that, compared to the crap they were producing occasionally after that year. It almost seems like instead of creating a ring that represents the journey and relates to the franchise's proud tradition, they chose to instead pick the design that simply looked good, and didn't fit at all.
Ah yes I see your point

Can someone explain to me how to spot a fake. I'm what you would call a novice when it comes to jersey's. I have 2 and both were purchased at the packers pro shop so i know they are legit.
