I think Jostens has been doing a fantastic job with the recent Cup rings, I just hope this time instead of all diamond top they would incorporate colored stones matching Blackhawks logo, I think that would be really cool.

I agree I'm not a fan of all these new rings in all sports not having color. I'm hoping the new hawks ring will have the tomahawks on top with colored stones. Since there's 2 tomahawks thought that would be a cool way to represent their second cup in 4 years.

Guys, I hate Miami Heat as does most of the country. But I am thinking their new rings will be the largest championship rings ever made! Their last ring at 115 grams was the largest/heaviest NBA championship ring ever made, even larger than all super bowl rings, including Steelers 2008 and Patriots 2003. I think it is only second to 2003 Marlins ring.

Since rings keep getting bigger year by year, their next ring would be around 125-130 grams…making it the largest championship ring ever.

Their last 2 rings were made by Jostens, I am assuming they will continue with them.

Unfortunately we have to wait till October, but I am pretty sure it is going to be the biggest championship rings ever!

I'm curious to see how large the new Blackhawks ring will be. Their last one was a monster.

Anyone has any idea what is the heaviest championship ring every made? Let's say an average man ring size is 11. Comparing all the championship rings of the same size 11, I think the Marlins 2003 or Heat's 2012 ring might be the heaviest. I saw a Marlins ring in an auction, size 11.5 for about 114 grams. When Heat's rings came out Jostens said the rings were 115 grams but would not give the ring size. I think sizes between 9-14 vary by approximately 1-1.5 gram per increased each ring size.

Even Patriots 2003 or Steelers 2008 which I think are the largest super bowl rings ever made weighed just about 100 grams for really large sizes of 13-14. I can't believe Marlins ring, with the now defunct logo is the largest ever, even bigger than super bowl rings!

Ravens rings are coming out next week, I think their previous rings made by Jostens weighed around 66-67 grams for a size 11.

I like it, but would have liked to see more color on top. It's hard to tell where one trophy ends and another begins. Other than that it's nice to see new designs not just the same rehashed ones.
