I've long felt that this was a criminally under appreciated idea even though I couldn't tell you whether I thought it was an improvement over the royal and silver.

I only had three problems with the Seahawks' uniforms of that era.

    1. The sleeve caps being a different color from the rest of jersey. Seemed unnecessary.
    2. The inclusion of the helmet logo on the sleeves. If an alternate logo was created for this set in it's place it would have looked better off to me.
    3. The alternate versions they ended up unveiling. Mainly the navy blue pants. The jerseys might have been better off had the numbers been slate blue instead white.

  2. Does anybody else think Inter Miami is going to quickly reach the mark to be eligible for thirds next season once Messi jerseys become available?

I would assume next year's primaries will be pink. The black secondary kits will return next year. Wonder what direction they would go with a third?

So, I'm pretty much just going to update my previous entry to this thread.

    Homer alert. Deal with it!

    • NFL: Washington Commanders
    • NBA: Washington Wizards
    • MLB: Washington Nationals
    • NHL: Washington Capitals
    • MLS: D.C. United
    • Overseas Soccer: Western Sydney Wonderers (A-League). Copa90 videos about this club won me over.  As well as 1 FC Union Berlin in Bundesliga.
    • P5 NCAA Football: University of Maryland and members of the pre-conference realignment ACC and Big East. Except for Miami and West Virginia.
    • Mid Major NCAA Football: Marshall, Temple & Cincinnati
    • NCAA FCS Football: All current members of the MEAC, Towson, Georgetown, Penn Hampton and North Carolina A&T. I generally want teams from the SWAC to do well but won't call them favorites.
    • NCAA D1 Basketball: Maryland, Georgetown, George Washington, George Mason, Hampton, North Carolina A&T and the entire MEAC. Again, I generally want teams from the SWAC to do well but won't call them favorites.
    • NCAA Division 2 Sports: All members of the CIAA, Shepherd University, University of the District of Columbia, Frostburg State University & which ever member of the SIAC makes it to the D2 football & basketball tournaments. As well as any team that beats IUP in football. IUP's fans on a D2 message board I frequent are the worst.
    • NCAA Division 3 Sports: Salisbury University, Catholic University, Gallaudet University and Johns Hopkins University
    • Junior College: Prince George's Community College
    • Minor League Baseball: Bowie Baysox, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs & the Nationals' entire farm system
    • WNBA: Washington Mystics
    • Major League Lacrosse (now defunct): Chesapeake Bayhawks
    • Premier Lacrosse League: Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club (in the PLL's first season their roster was predominantly Maryland alums)
    • NBA G League: Capital City Go-Go
    • The Basketball Tournament: Florida TNT & HBCUnited
    • International Sporting Events: United States, Nigerian and Jamaican national teams. I generally root for Pan-African & Canadian teams to do well. For some reason I'd like to see England/Great Britain/United Kingdom become better in basketball.

Update: The University of Maryland and Georgetown now have alumni teams in The Basketball Tournament, so you can add Shell Shock and DawgTown to my list of favorite TBT teams.

  4. Rough outing for Jamaica. They have a ways to go before they can challenge the big 3 in North America. However, they may set a foundation for becoming one of the top lacrosse nations outside the continent if they can build off the success they had in the tournament prior to today's loss.

A pity it's going to be a North American Final

I don't understand why Pool A has the best nations all in it.

An all North American final was likely going to happen regardless of how the groups were selected

  6. Jamaica has been undefeated thus far. Going to find out just how good they truly are in the quarterfinals against Canada tomorrow! They've looked good against New Zealand and European teams, but North America lacrosse is the real deal.

    Wish them the best! 🤞🏾👍🏾

All 5 teams in Pool A (Australia, Canada, England, Iroquis Nation and the United States) are assured the top 5 seeds.

Why would they put the US, Canada and Iroquois in the same group? And why does that entire group automatically move on to the knockouts? Maybe it's my fault for assuming it would have a World Cup like random selection for the groups outside of the host nation having the A1 spot.
